Encompassing Valsugana, Val di Fiemme, Val di Cembra, and Primiero, and extending into the Paneveggio Pale di San Martino Nature Park, Lagorai is the most extensive mountain range in Eastern Trentino.
This "little Tibet," nestled in the heart of the Alps, is a succession of incredible landscapes untouched by human development, where it is still possible to conquer a peak and feel small in the presence of nature. A unique feature of the Lagorai is the multitude of small lakes that dot its peaks, tiny bodies of water nestled among metamorphic rocks, forests, mule tracks, meadows, and alpine pastures.
Terre del Lagorai was born at the foot of these giants, in Valsugana, known for the authenticity of its villages, cultivated countryside, and mountain environments, all entirely explorable by bicycle. The origin of its sustainability philosophy lies precisely in respecting tradition and nature, where the members' desire is to bring Valsugana and Lagorai to new economic competitiveness without forgetting the valuable resources and people that underpin them. All our vineyards are lovingly tended by local producers and harmoniously integrated into the landscape, as their freedom from invasive treatments also makes them suitable for settlement in inhabited areas. The winery's commitment is also reflected in the reclamation of uncultivated land, industrial structures, and the economic circuits in which it was born.
